BPA FREE ROLLS IN ALL SIZES

BPA (Bisphenol A) is a chemical that was traditionally used in the manufacturing of thermal paper, which allows thermal paper to safely change colour when exposed to heat without igniting. BPA is also used in many other products including drinks bottles and food containers which have been deemed safe by the Food Standards Agency. BPA free paper does not contain Bisphenol A but does contain Bisphenol S (BPS). Phenol free paper does not contain BPA or BPS, or any phenol, by definition.

Why was BPA banned?

Exposure to BPA is a concern because of the possible health effects on the brain and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children. It can also affect children's behavior. Additional research suggests a possible link between BPA and increased blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Does it affect print quality?

The absence of BPA does not effect the quality of prints that the thermal paper produces. While it is true that BPA is excellent for making stable and clear thermal prints, BPA-free thermal papers are still very competitive in terms of overall print quality.

What sizes are available?
